Chelsea:

Kepa Arrizabalaga: No chance with Llorentes close-range header. Saved very well from Moura at the key time in the shoot-out. 6Cesar Azpilicueta: An assured performance as ever from the captain and blasted home perfect penalty. 6Antonio Rudiger: Some timely headers but was caught out with Spurs long-balls in the second half. 6David Luiz: Overcame early leg injury to impose himself but Spurs pushed him back in second half. Settled the penalties with powerful strike to send Chelsea into the final. 7Emerson Palmieri: Got up and down from left-back well. 6NGolo Kante: Sparked the second-leg with a fierce drive from range and was good throughout. 7Jorginho: Booked for nasty challenge on Rose and again didnt look at his best but superb from the spot. 6Chelsea beat Tottenham at Stamford Bridge3

Ross Barkley: Not a memorable night for the England ace but linked play well at times. Taken off with ten minutes to go. 6Pedro: Tricky and spritely throughout without a killer finish. Replaced by Willian with 15 minutes left. 7Eden Hazard: Superbly taken goal and could have had more on another day. Looked much better in his preferred position and was a real threat. 8Olivier Giroud: A quiet night for the Frenchman before missing two stoppage time chances to win it. Linked play well but should have settled tie. 5Subs:Willian: On for Pedro. Struggled to make an impact in normal time but scored Chelsea’s first penalty. 5Mateo Kovacic: Replaced Barkley late on. 5Unused subs: Caballero, Hudson-Odoi, Ampadu, Piazon, Alonso.

Tottenham:

Paulo Gazzaniga: Produced some superb long-range passes and did well.No chance with either goal or in the shoot-out. 6Serge Aurier: A surprisingly subdued evening and was caught out of position at times. 5Toby Alderweireld: Had chances in attack but Spurs would have wanted him more solid at the back. 6Jan Vertonghen: Wont be happy with Chelseas opener but was good from then on. 6Ben Davies: Off early after suffering an apparent groin injury. 5Eric Dier: One or two early clashes before settling into the tie. Fired penalty high into the crowd. 5Harry Winks: Defended well but was left behind by Hazard at times. 5Moussa Sissoko: Still returning to full fitness so couldnt use his normal powerful runs and looked a step behind before going off injured. 5Christian Eriksen: Gave job of keeping Jorginho off the ball and did it well. Showed his creativity in flashes. Scored opening penalty. 7Tottenham star Fernando Llorente3

Erik Lamela: Found it tough to get involved and was perhaps lucky to escape red card after arm caught Azpilicueta. Penalty slotted home well. 5Fernando Llorente: After a non-existent first-half, the Spaniard battled well to head home Spurs first. Taken off for Moura on 65 minutes. 6Subs:Danny Rose: On for Davies after 30 minutes. Wicked cross to set up Llorente and drew several fouls with his attacking play. 7Lucas Moura: Replaced Llorente on 65 minutes. Got in behind Chelsea but shot into side-netting. Had penalty saved to set up Chelsea’s win. 5Davinson Sanchez: Sissokos replacement late on. 5Unused subs: Lloris, Nkoudou, Walker-Peters, Skipp.
