He played 45 league games, just missing one match due to the birth of his son, and kept 18 clean sheets the third best in the league behind Sheffield Uniteds Dean Henderson (21) and Middlesbroughs Darren Randolph (19).Butland was recently named in Englands 23-man squad for next months UEFA Nations League finals one of only two players who do not currently play in Englands top flight (the other being Borussia Dortmunds Jadon Sancho).
