Gonzalo Higuain is reportedly closing in on a January move to Chelsea, according to reports.The striker, who is currently on loan at Milan from Juventus, has been heavily linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge throughout the January transfer window.And it appears the move is set to be confirmed over the coming days, with Sky in Italy reporting a deal has been agreed between Chelsea and Juventus.Higuain looks set to move to Stamford Bridge2

Higuain had been due to spend the rest of the season on loan at San Siro, but he’s now set to cut short the deal and move to thePremier League club.It is understood Chelseawill take the 31-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season with the option to make the deal permanent in the summer or extend the agreement for another 12 months.Higuain refused to be drawn on the reports when approached by the Italian media as Milan arrived back in Italy after losing the Supercoppa Italiana to Juventus; the Argentina international played 19 minutes of the match in Saudi Arabia,“If you are looking for troubles, you won’t find them with me,” Higuain said at Milan’s Malpensa airport when questioned by journalists.
